After completing her degree at Warwick University, Rachel started her career in event production as a Runner. She quickly gained further experience in live events and produced her first show in Atlanta 2006 for a substantial audience of 3,500. She then went on to work with YellowSpanner; a family business which was originally formed in 1992 and is still going strong today. There she produced live events and videos in the UK, Europe and the USA for clients such as MSN and Siemens. She documented the GB Rowing Team in the run up to the 2012 London Olympics and produced two documentaries for Microsoft which were filmed in Madagascar and Malawi.
In 2011 Rachel began working with pioneering virtual studio technology alongside her brother Simon. They proved to be a successful combination and were awarded Best TV/Video/Audio company in 2014 for their work in the field.
With experience not only behind the camera but in front of it, Rachel has presented videos for many companies, and in 2013 she formed a team of professionals delivering presentation skills all over the world.
‘I’ve seen the corporate communications industry change dramatically over the last 10 years. Budgets have come down and yet the need to communicate with dispersed workforces has never been greater. With video on the increase, all business leaders will have to learn to communicate via video messaging, it’s what this generation expects. The Mobile Studio Company caters specifically for that need. Mixing the latest technologies with our experience in communications means we can help companies deliver effective, high quality messages via video.’
